Hello every1

I have a couple of questions regarding best before dates on gloves.

Im thinking of buying the Nike T90 Confidence gloves now with only a couple of months left of the outdoor season here in Sweden.

My concern is if they still will grip when I start using them again around march-april next year....

Is there anything I can do to preserve the palm/grip during the break? Perhaps wash them once a month or something like that?

Or should I simply wait with new gloves until next year?

Grateful for any tips I can get..

I didn't wear my Sells Comfort Contour NCs for about 4 months during winter because it was too cold for them (the body is a very thin fabric). I rinsed them out once a month or so, and also took them out of their bag and just held and handled a ball once a week or so (inside my apt - my girlfriend thought I was insane). That seemed to keep the grip pretty much intact, as I'm wearing them again now, but if I'm honest, the grip is just slightly less than it was before. Still very good, just not quite as great.

If you need the gloves now, I wouldn't be put off getting them because of the winter break. But if you can get by without them, it would probably be easier just to wait.
