Review:
When I recieved these gloves two weeks ago and ripped open the package, I knew I was holding quality. I was holding two KA Goalkeeping gloves - the Roll Finger and Flat Palm, and one would be my next glove for "Sunday League" usage (the other for the school season). I went with the Roll Fingers, and gave these babies two pre-washes before their first use as they're pretty slick from the manufactoring chemicals.
After three uses, these gloves held up to my expectations, and beyond. These gloves are soft, and are great at shock absorbtion. They're also tacky, and catching has never been easier. They look beautiful, the all white (and a light shade of yellow ) color scheme... I'm digging it. The ideology that all white gloves make your hands look bigger must be true, I thought I had the hands of King Kong with them on! The construction? Fantastic. Putting them on has been a breeze compared to my old Reusch Ortho Tec's that took me forever to get on! Wet weather? No problem, these gloves excel in wet conditions just as good as dry.
In my opinion, these gloves have downright out performed my old $110 Reusch Othro-Tec's, which, in my opinion, were not as tacky and well constructed! And these are only $38!
As a side note, these gloves are surprisingly easy to wash, I guess it helps that the whole glove is made out of latex, so nothing traps in dirt particles. I've managed to keep out the dirt and whatnot to keep the nice white shinin' . However, these gloves hold onto water like glue, so make sure you wash em ahead of time. Also, after three games, there has been absolutely minimal wear on the gloves, just a few micro tears - and I play on a terrible... terrible field.
What can be improved aka Kenny look here!:
In my opinion, only one thing - increase the width of the velcro that keeps the wrist band attached, or shorten the wrist band. The loose "estate" of my band (only about half an inch, luckily I have "large" wrists?) has taken quite a beating in terms of getting thrown around and picking up bits of dirt and grass! It's still intact though, and washing the band with water gets the dirt stains off.
Pros:
Excellent in dry conditions!
Excellent in wet conditions!
Great design and color scheme!
Solid construction!
Easy to wash!
Tacky!
Great shock absorber!
Easy to put on!
Cons:
Gets dirty easily (but easy to wash).
Wrist band might be a bit long for people with small wrists and will probably just "hang loose."
Holds water like it's no one's business!

Halt! Don't buy those $100 good for nothing gloves. Save your money... you can get excellence for only $38. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Good review zulu and a great advertisement for Kenny. After reading all these rave reviews these are the next gloves on my list to get along side the new TGB smu. Good stuff Kenny.
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
great review! i totaly agree
i also think the wrist strap needs to be shorter and maybe smooth latex
Thanks for the comments guys .
You won't regret the purchase Dida, especially with the 2 for 1 deal, they're a steal.
Still the 2 for 1 deal is on? Im very interested in getting some of these to trial myself...Who is to contact to obtain some? I persume Kenny?
Thanks Guys.

Yes, just drop Kenny a line. I heard the deal is valid til August something.

Thanks for posting the review Bonafidezulu. You feedback has been taken on board. I keep a file of all feedback received on the gloves. This allows KA Goalkeeping the opportunity to deliver exactly what high standard goalkeepers want.
What do you all think of the prototype pictures of the updated version of the launch glove. The main changes are,
The logo is made from a sofer rubber material, this provides a more comfortable fit of the glove.
The wriststrap had been shortened and is made from smooth embossed latex.
An extended palm, with logo has been added.
After testing I have decided to go forward with the sofer material for the logo and the smooth embossed wrist strap. I am undecided on whether to introduce the extended palm. All thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

Used mine the other night and i agree with the reviews and think they are a great glove and think the comfort is the best around. Also the grip performs brilliantly and gives me a lot of confidence when catching.
I like th new wrist strap Kenny, but not sure whether the extended palm is really needed but thats just my preferance. I think the gloves look great with its simple looks but would be intrested in seeing the KA logo maybe being a green or yellow.
Thanks Kenny the gloves are great and will be purchasing again in the future.
Great to see you're taking steps to improve your already perfect gloves Kenny.
I like the idea of the latex wrist strap (though I don't have a problem with the current one; the length is the problem), but does it hold up as well as the current one? Seems to me it would be prone to tears, unless it's made of a tough material like the current one. Also, I've never used a glove with an extended palm, so I'm not sure of the benefits of having it. However, I'm sure you don't catch with your wrists!
From testing the extended palm the only benefits I can see from having it is when catching lower shots, that are straight at the stomach area (In the basket as my old gk coach used to shout) the extended wrist palm helps with this, especially when wearing a short sleeved gk top. The flip side of this is when wearing a long sleeve gk top it tends to push down onto the extended palm which hinders the fit of the glove.
I like the idea of an extented palm, i like the extended palm on my sells, but i dont think you will need to, the gloves are very good and have been reccomending them to all of the keepers i play with and coach.
Ah, I never thought of that. I'm with Luke29 though, I'd prefer not to have it (I wear long-sleeved jerseys).
These look great. I'm going to give these a bash later in the year (once current glove stocks have been exhausted).
The extended palms don't do a lot for me. I find them a bit cumbersome and never seem to find myself actually using them to take the ball. Just my two penn'orth.
I love the changes Kenny.
Its makes the glove look more professional, especially the smooth latex strap.
I like the extended palm and dont personally find it a problem with long sleeve jerseys. I also think it kaes the glove look more 'Solid'.
The changes look to have improved an already great glove.
Any ideas on when the new version will be availabe Kenny?
