But this happened in the greek league between Asteras tripoli and Panathinaikos....

Am I right in saying... How could he get a red card for that????

Strange one this. It's certainly not the first time a player has tackled a fan who has entered the field of play. Very unlucky...should have only got a yellowStick out tongue

indeed.. apparently according to the rulebook.. players aren´t allowed to tackle spectators that enters the pitch and therefore should be punished... which sounds stupid to me.. how about common sense? who knows what could´ve happened....

Craziness...He was only trying help and it's not like he punched him to the floor. Sme rules in football are just needless. Funny seeing the guy fall in slow motion though lol

Absolutely ridiculous decision. I think we had this ref for a couple matches indoors recently.

haha thats ridiculous if he had physical assaulted him then yes but he was simply helpin the police and security catch the maniac WELL DONE SIR I THINK HE DESERVES A MEDAL not a red card  to say it was harsh would be an understatement
