 Hi guys.

After 2 many parctices without any padding whatsoever with the result that both my hips were bruised and swollen I finally ordered me a pair of these in size medium http://www.great-save.com/hkeXfi977262/Adults-Clothing/Reusch-GK-Clothing/Reusch-Keeper-Under-short-lite/p-14-173-1636/ however they were first of all a bit too big... not that keen on having them pulled all the way up to my chest more or less (Im very short, only 163 cm). But the main problem is that they are way too bulky to be comfortable. So I wonder if you guys had any tips on a pair of undershorts with sufficient padding, but not to much either. So I still can move somewhat effortless... Grateful for all the help you can give me. pls link to where I can buy the shorts you´re recommending....

I wear the adidas Active Goalkeeper Tight. Fits me perfectly, just enough (but not too much) padding, very lightweight wicking material.

I am currently wearing the Nike Pro Heist Slider.  It's $30.00 and comes in White, Black or Grey.  Not overly tight but definately compresses where needed and the padding is perfect.  I usually wear these for games on field turf and I've even worn them for a cople games on regular astro turf and have not had any issues.

Only ever use padded undershorts playing indoor Football. I have the current Nike undershorts but they really are a bit lightweight for indoors. So I alternate between the sells neoprene undershorts and a pair of Between the Sticks own neo undershorts. Both were a bit stiff at first but after a few uses and washes they are perfect.Yes

I don't wear padded undershorts. Not that I dislike, I've just never tried them.

I wear normal compression shorts for games (Speaking from experience, brand really does not matter, as long as it is good fitting, so don't rule out cheap brands. I use them all.).

For practice I wear padded shorts over compression shorts which works great for protection. These are the the ones I use. You can find them pretty much anywhere. http://www.amazon.com/adidas-Adidas-Basic-Goalkeeper-Shorts/dp/B000QGLO76

These are what i have been using the past year in games and they are the best GK undershorts i have used. I have the McDavid ones also but i much prefere the adidas ones.

Must say I think padded undershorts in general are a very good product - I use them all the time when playing indoors (futsal) or on artificial surfaces.

There also seems to be a very good range of choices from the lightweight materials to the highly padded neoprene versions. I've used both and depending on the circumstances and conditions I've been more than happy with either.

So I just got a new pair of 3/4 slide pant/shorts.  I wore them last night for the first time under my 3/4 pants and they were perfect.  They cover my knees and are thicker at teh knees and sides for slight padding and they are compression bottoms as well.  Not sure I want to take a pictuer of just them so I'll spare you all that but I'll see if i can find a catalog image of them.

well, since I have no luck with the nike shorts Sad I mailed Justkeepers and enquired about the adidas Active Goalkeeper Tight and the McDavid hex pad shorts... however they replied back and said the adidas shorts are just as bulky as the reusch one..?? but the hexpad had lesser padding.. could any1 confirm or perhaps disregard that? and how´s the sizes on the adidas and hexpad shorts..?

I wear a pair of Skins half tights and rely on the padding in my Adidas Tierro pants which I find to be sufficient. I feel a lot more comfortable in pants on a lot of the surfaces we play on over here and the Skins get used for other sports, so there is no need for padding
