Don't like them very very plain. They look like the Sells SS Comfort but without colour and in flat palm...

Dida still needs a team! lol

Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!

Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.

He is shopping around for a new sponsor and is litterally checking out every option.

bleh, they look like a poor glove as well....

well maybe he's going to sign with under armour as a baselayer endorsee and they offered him gloves to try nd sneek into the bargain. I know robinson is known to wear baselayers most matches.

Everyone has a base layer these days so there would be no need to sign with UA for that if he was going to wear footwear and gloves from someone else.  Whoever he ends up with will want to sign a head to toe deal.  Footwear, equipment and apparel.  If he did go with UA it would be for everything except Footwear but I do know they are working on that as well so he could be at the front of both glove and footwear design for them.  It also means they are throwing a lot of denaro at him.

I asked my friend at Umbro and he says he is not aware of anything but is going to do some sniffing around for me!

Still think myself that an Umbro deal would suit both parties with him now at Blackburn and still in the England frame.

Those UA gloves are very pleasing on they eye. They also remind me of the Quickhands weighted training gloves for some reason!

Personally I think he will go back to his roots and sign with Selsport. I am sure he is just waiting for the TGB SMU glove to arrive before announcing his decision Wink

Seriously though, good on him for not chasing the dollar and committing to one brand. How much fun would it be to be courted by glove companies and be given new gloves every couple of days? Be honest, we would all LOVE to be in his position.

what may have happend is. he probably fell out with nike or went out of contract and they didnt re new it and he is trying every glove out to see which is more like the nike fit and latex.

we could put an end to all this and just send him a letter asking him what is going on lol

Please find below information I received this morning from SGP regarding Paul Robinson and Sells ...

"We have developed a new roll finger model for him and he wore it against Arsenal. Its a version of the Contour model with h2o ultimate latex and outlast technology body.

Paul has tested lots of brands since his departure from Nike and I am hopeful he will agree to join us. If Paul joins us we would launch his glove model for Christmas."

Interesting that they have developed a glove just for him.

I really like the look of this glove though and would be interested to see it up close.
