Just got my Nike T90 Gunn Cut gloves, and as always with nike, they have that annoying plastic protecting the palms, stitched in to the glove.... *sighs*

Any1 got any tips on how to remove it more easily and without ripping the foam.. always seems to be plastic left around the edges, that are a pain to remove...

And also, what happens if I by mistake rip the palm? Shouldn´t I be compensated by NIKE?

On the compensation topic, no, because it's your fault, not Nike's, if you rip the palm.

The one time I did it a couple of seasons ago, I removed mine in my bathroom after having a hot shower; the steam helps lift the plastic away from the gloves.  Also, I remember people in here saying washing the glove with the film on does the same thing (I think it was in discussion over D-Flekt gloves, but should be the same thing for Nike).

Ive found with the nike's it is a hell of a lot easier than it ever was to get the film of APG Gloves!

I just get the bulk of the film off then whilst I pre wash the gloves I just work the rest of it off the palm.

I remember having fun and games with Uhlsport APG that stitched the clear plastic down the way Nike does, someone, however told me about the shower tip that Mehmet mentioned and that worked a treat with APG palms and also the contact foam gloves I've had recently! (Kinda taken the place of APG IMO)

We also use plastic film over the gloves.  Most gloves shouldnt require pre-washing that use film as the film helps protect during the manufacturing process, aswel as keeping the plam solution intact (no need to pouder gloves etc)

best way to remove the film is starting at the bottom of the palm.  A steamed room could also help

hope this helps
