Hi Mac
Going to wear them for the rest of the week in training before deciding on the extended palm. My thoughts at the minute are that the gloves would be better without extending the palm.
Anybody else who has an opinion on this please feel free to leave comment. All feedback is much appreciated and will be taken on board.

I am with you Kenny. I find extended palms do not add enough benefit to couteract the change in weight and fit. Plus, they are usually a bit harder to get on, and always seem to come up tight on me.
I don't care much for an extended palm, I dont realy feel the benifit of it to be honest. I wouldnt say its pointless but IMO its not worth having. As the saying goes: If it aint broke dont fix it.
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
To be honest it doesn't bother me either way, but in this case i like it. I dont think it will improve/disimprove the glove, its just personal prefrence.
The most important chnages IMO are the smooth latex strap and the larger logo.

will you be able to get your name printed on the wrist strap at some point? or is that not in your plans?
also when will the new glove be out?
I really like the combination of extended palm/roll finger. I was thinking of purchasing your original glove, but I think I will wait and go with your latest model with the extended palm if you decide to use it.

Must say I'm thinking this...just doesnt add anything to the glove....but in the same aspect wouldnt really say it takes anything away from it either.....
Wouldnt go with the extended palm, keep it as it is. Will be ordering in the next week
I would really like to try extended palm on a glove but most are to expensive or looks like they are gonna fall apart on me, so i would love to try the extended palm KA gloves. Also I think the smooth wrist strap look alot better than the ribbeled one.

I went back to a conventional roll finger last nite after using these in training the past 2 weeks and definatly missed the surround cut index and middle finger.
Slowly truning into my prefered cut of glove.
for once, i couldn't disagree more with mac.
i dislike the surround cut so much that i haven't worn my KAs for several sessions now. the fit and feel of a standard roll finger glove (such as the select 77 or d-flekt aquastar which i've been using) offers me personally a far superior fit and comfort.
however i do like the extended wrist, i believe it helps provide more latex-ball contact in all sorts of situations such as one v ones, gathering awkward low shots and beating away those swerving nightmares that we seem to be increasingly subjected to.
that said, i wouldn't dismiss a glove purely because it didn't have an extended palm - it's an helpful addition but not an essential feature.
it is interesting to note, though, that all of the gloves i've been using lately (MDG ultra wrap, Nike T90 Gunn, D-flekt aquastar, Reusch Duo Pro Bowl and Puma V-Pro Absorb) all have extended palms.
haha how dare you disagree with me! lol
Im sure i will go back to conventional roll finger at some point, i have been wearing KA's A LOT lately and have just got use to them in a big way.
Even though im a skinny blighter i have quite wide feet and hands and im sure the surround cut suits wide hands better IMO and thats why im feeling the love for these at the moment.
I have had a few sells/selsport surround cut roll fingers in the past and got on with them very well in terms of fit.
totally agree, surround is a wider cut and suits a wider hand. i remember one of the guys on here (justin maybe?) saying he couldnt wear any non-surround gloves as he has shovel-wide hands.
personally though i have normal hands and i find the surround cut both baggy and heavy, as the extra latex round the hand is basically wasted on me.

I'm with you on that one Mac. Like you, I both have wide feet and hands, so, as I said in the review, the fit of the gloves are superb.
