After many, many months of hard work behind the scenes, secret (well not so secret! ) polls on here to determine what you wanted to see in a glove etc, we are extremely happy to present to you the final two glove designs which have been chosen to become the next TGB SMU.
The first thing you will notice, is that the glove will be made by Selsport. We had a few different companies offering up a SMU this year but for us, because of their commitment to and their efforts with TGB, Selsport were the obvious choice for us.
Both Selsport and TGB staff are very excited with the glove concepts we have come up with and now it is up to you to vote on which design you like the best and this glove will become YOUR SMU for 2008/09. Simply use the voting poll below to vote for your preferred design. The poll will run for 14 days only, so do not delay. Vote now.
Included with the designs are the glove specs and the glove will have a retail price of £34.99 or US$69.99
Once the final design has been chosen, we will then run a glove naming competition (yes with a prize), so you might want to start having a think about that as well.
Finally, I would like to thank Mark, Paul and Mike from Selsport for all of their hard work and patience.

fantastic, i guarantee i will be purchasing a pair! love both designs but i prefer the selsport logo on the 2nd (which appears to be the main difference between the two)
great stuff guys!
Once again the gloves will be available from our partners at www.great-save.com and www.betweenthesticks.com .
Lovely looking gloves! I voted for Concept 2.
What agreat looking glove!
Con2 all the way.
I voted for concept 2.
Great looking design, guys well done! Not a bad price either!
UEFA 'B' Licence Goalkeeper Coach
im just curious, what type of palm will they have? just SS, and also will they have the tri-lock wrist band accustom to most selsports?
they look great by the way, and wil defo buy a pair!
Much prefer concept two as I prefer the logo and the green patch on conecept 1 stands out too much for me and takes the attention away from the logo.

Good stuff guys!
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
Not much competition here. Concept 2 is fantastic. Concept 1 is great as well, but as has been mentioned, the logo on Concept 2 just looks cleaner and less distracting to me. Well done gentlemen. Thank you Selsport!!

I like the both, but concept 2 grabs me a bit mote....i think its the bigger logo tbh
I also like having www.theglovebag.com AND our excellent logo on the glove to make it really our glove
Well done to Mark, Paul and Mike...as well as Jimmy and the rest of the TBG team behind it....great stuff!
We take joy by taking the joy from players and spectators.....
great work people, yep concept 2 would be my preference.
I think Black backhands can be very hard to get right, but when done right it looks great as above
I really like them both, but have also gone for the Concept 2 which looks just a little bit better.
I agree with Dida regarding the green patch on the concept 1. I much prfer the concept 2.
Two questions guys,
1. When will we be able to see the final design in the 'flesh' so to speak
and
2. What is the release date for the glove?
Also I must also comment on the Glovebag logo which looks great and promotes the site.
