Having watched Cech in his first 2 games I've noticed that it looks like he's made a conscience decision not to attempt to catch anything. Before people start jumping up in arms here I'm not having a go at him for it, its just something I've noticed. Maybe he's let all this talk of the balls movement etc stick in his head. It may be true - I don't know BUT Petr is making that decision to get a GOOD hand/fist to the ball and get the ball away from goal the best he can....not a bad route to take if all they say is true.

And to add to that the weather has been less than favorable.

It seems to be the higher shots he's beating away. The lower ones, such as one of Ronaldo's free kicks and another Ronaldo snap shot, he's held.

There seems to be a patern where most Keepers at the tournament are beating away shots from distance. The ball does certainly seem to be moving about all over the place when you see the replays.
