VDS for me. I think he's been very solid and his handling has been class, especially in bad conditions against France. I don't think Buffon will want to see that first goal against Holland again, but he's been excellent since then.
Hmm Buffon has made important saves but a bit iffy at some other times. I would say Volkan but he got himself sent off stupidly so I wont say him. So for me I have to Van der Sar because of his consistency. However I did not see all of the goalkeepers in 2008.
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
Labont
Labont did really well. There's still something about his form/technique that doesn't look right, he lands on his stomach a lot and even the way he parries shots sometimes looks odd. But the bottom line is he got the job done.
akinfeev and pletikosa are the two lesser known keepers who have impressed me. volkan also, shame we won't see him again!
Boruc for me could of got very embarrising for poland if he wasnt there, always fancy him with to make the save on one v ones
Ricardo doesn't want to know when it comes to crosses, does he?
I'll say it again, that is really poor from Ricardo (and his defenders, to be fair - why can't they jump???), and it looks like it will send them home.
That's right . . . all three goals came off crosses. I think it's a mixture of poor defending and not thinking a step ahead that got them in the hole.
I would say hes keeper of the tournament, tho Lobont has been very good.
But Someone who really surprised me, is Boruc.
I though he was rubbish in the 1st game. But after that he was class.
Still dont like him tho

Being loyal to my country, and besides the fact that he's a very good goalkeeper, Bogdan "Pisica" Lobonţ has had a great tournament. Artur Boruc has made some saves that have dropped my jaw as well. Ricardo has been terrible, capped off by his Count Dracula performance today. Petr Cech had a good first three matches, and I thought he had an excellent match against Turkey, and he was extremely unlucky that his only mistake led to such an important goal. I also thought Andreas Isaksson had a couple of solid matches, although in a very quiet way.
Liviu Bird
Rushtu for Turkey has made the save of the tournament on Cerna's free kick for Croatia.
Srna and yes that was a magnificent save!
It was a great save...but I'm really starting to wonder about modern keepers and their positioning at free kicks. That was to the side he was supposed to be covering, and he stepped the other way before the ball was struck, and then had to fling himself back. We're seeing this more and more, not to mention MANY goals being scored on the 'keeper's side' of the wall.
