You mean the one that hit the post? I dont think he did but im not sure.
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
gkpaul: Also, Ive mentioned this before. I have always been told that what you wear under your kit has to be the same colour as the jersey itself? I remember being told in my first full season to take my undershorts off as they were blue and my shorts were black. Anyone able to confirm or deny it for me?

It's Law 4 in the FIFA Laws of the Game (p. 20 in the manual). I just took a test on the laws.
Thank you Katie!
Turkey goalkeeper Volkan Demirel has been banned for two matches after being sent off during his side's Group A 3-2 victory over Czech Republic.
Demirel was dismissed in stoppage time of Monday's match after pushing Czech striker Jan Koller to the ground.
The Fenerbahce keeper will definitely miss their quarter-final against Croatia and also a potential semi-final against Germany or Portugal.
That's a shame. I really thought his ban might actually get overturned, as Koller made it look much worse than it was. But then, he's a silly by for raising his hands in the first place.
I read he got an additional game for sitting on the bench after recieving the red card, players are not allowd in the techincal area after recieving a card.
It is a bummer he has had a great tourney so far, they do have an experienced keeper in Rustu comin in
Im kinda late but deffinatly a pen. Didnt touch the ball, last man, clear scoring chance. 100% pen and red card.
Mehmet: In the France v Italy game, did Coupet touch that Toni shot near the end? He also produced a good save from a Toni header in the second half, which turned out to be offside.

yep he got a clear touch, and quality stop from offside header-3 world class saves, and he even makes
those shocking gloves look cool.
If thats his last game then he did himself proud
i thought akinfeev was excellent again tonight, he comes for everything in the area and gets good distance on his punches if he doesn't feel he can catch the ball.
the commentators on ITV were slating him, saying that other teams should look to put him under pressure from high balls, calling him the weak link. i think they're totally wrong, he's one of russia's best players and was excellent throughout the match. he quite rightly chose to punch when under pressure, and his distribution was fantastic.
if petr cech had made the right decision to punch instead of catch, his country would be still in the tournament. well played akinfeev i say.
I don't disagree in general rich, but there was one ball in the second half that he punched where not only was he under no pressure, there were literally no Swedish players in the box. That one, I thought, was poor.
So, now all the group stages have been complete. Who gets your nod for stand out keeper so far?
I will go for Boruk myself. He has always impressed me when I see him play.
Van der Sar for me, but I must say Isaksson has had a solid tournament, considering the fact that he was on the bench at City for the half of last season.
I think the stand out keeper has been Buffon, as he has made important saves like the penalty against Romania and I'd always back him in one on one situations. I think hes probably Italys best chance of winning it. Also I quite like Volkan I think he also has had a solid tournament although you coud ask questions about both Czech Republic goals.

think if you get a good hand on the ball, your always going to questions whether you could of saved it, but yep have been really impressed with Volkan. been a good advert for world goalkeeping on the whole, with several great displays by different keepers.
Im gonna go for a slightly Alternative one, Stipe Pletikosa.
He hasn't made numerous great saves or dominated his box as well as others but his distrubution has been 1st class, especially his throwing.
I think he has been vital in Croatia's way of playing IMO.
