Anyone know what those black bars are on the thumbs of Macho's uhlsports? I thought maybe he had partially "whited" out the uhlsport logo, but now I am not so sure.
It has to be said that Lehmanns handeling tonight has been quite superb.
I thought that too, but then I saw that Coupet had both the Uhl logo and "Uhlsport" down the thumb, so I'm not sure if he just got away with it, or what. In any case, I guess it's just some temporary graphic slapped over the "Uhlsport."

Not a penalty in my view, went down too easily for me. And definitely not a red card.Although i suppose in the refs eyes he is last man AND denying a goal scoring chance so I suppose he has to send him off if he rewards the penalty...

Sorry Dida, totally disagree with your first thought. Yeah Luca Toni went down easily but he's not going to fake it when the ball is at his feet and only Coupet to beat.
Abidal tackled from behind and prevented a clear chance on goal and was the last man. According to the rules that is a penalty and a red card.
