Poland goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has been ruled out of Euro 2008 with a back injury, team spokeswoman Marta Alf said on Friday.
"After a spine scan in hospital in Graz and after consultations with a UEFA doctor it has been assessed Kuszczak will be out for three weeks," said Alf.
His withdrawal came one day after Poland winger Jakub Blaszczykowski was ruled out of the tournament after aggravating a hamstring injury in training.
Kuszczak, a reserve with European champions Manchester United, had been vying with Lukasz Fabianski to be Poland's second-choice keeper at the finals behind first-team regular Artur Boruc.
Poland's Dutch coach Leo Beenhakker has asked organisers UEFA for permission to call up 31-year-old Wojciech Kowalewski of first division Korona Kielce.
Kowalewski played three times during the qualifying campaign and was in Beenhakker's provisional squad for the tournament before being omitted from the final 23.
So does that mean that Dudek might be in???
