i've tried on a sample of the Exosphere...and for Sells sake i hope it was just a naff sample....latex aside the the glove was overpriced, uncomfortable/painful and a poor fit (that said the same criticisms could be levelled against the Total Evo samples i saw before the production models arrived!). I saw the Reusch range the same day and for FP-ers the Ortho-Tec range seemed light years ahead......the Sells £70.00 Wrap Guard was also a better model in my opinion

The guy that runs my local soccer shop says that Adam Sells called him and said he was sending him a pair of Exospheres to try for free.

Big Smile were on earth did £79.99 come from Tongue Tied you have got to be kidding me, yet again, price hikes by companies we keep in business, and they stab us in the back with stuff like that, no diffrent from a standard wrap in my opinion, and nothing to be declared £30 over that price, if anything, sample gloves should be cheaper

These have the outlast, which judging at the price is a rare material that ensures that u will never let in a goal again Stick out tongueSorry to be cynic!Seriously the outlast is to keep the hand at the optimum temp. but in my opinion it isnt really needed, Normal mesh would of done the trick i think...Plus that is the £80 is the price stated by Sells not Great-Save if thats what u meant.

Dida still needs a team! lol

Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!

Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.

Easy way to express your displeasure.  Don't buy them if you do not like them.

So.....has anyone relented to buying a pair of the Exosphere Guards?

The new Youth Team Keeper at the club has a pair and I saw them for the 1st time in the flesh today, cannot comment on the latex as he is a sz 10 and I'm an 8.5 so didn't bother trying them on.  Good solid construction but nothing so much better than a pair of £50.00 Aqua Wraps couldn't give you, took the spines out and I have to say I expected much better, I did a little reverse bend on them to test and the pressure was minimal and I thought that I was going to snap them Indifferent nothing like the Reusch spines but very similiar to the recent puma Konstructs, for this price they need to be as good and if not better than Reusch spines.

I think they are way overpriced and it would seem that the consumer is being played into believing that the Outlast technology is really going to make a massive difference when in reality I believe the consumer is having to foot part of the bill for the NASA Technology and research costs etc. etc.that have gone into producing this model.

There will be people who purchase these and think they've got the best thing since sliced bread but really there are gloves out there that will serve the same purpose keep your hands as dry and as warm as possible in extreme conditions, for half the price of these.

It's not just about the Outlast, which I agree is not likely to make a big difference. They have an entirely different latex from the Wraps and any other glove. What if it's really the best wet weather latex ever?

For the latex, i'm going to give these a go: http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prodinfo.asp?PID=PDS-006-025-479&DEPT=6&BRAND=25&SS=1

Haven't used Sells for over a season, so am expecting good things and these are at a reasonable price for the new H20 latex.
