Thanks yashin84.  There should be a couple of reviews on the site soon.

Lets hope the retro theme doesnt go too far with the really really short shorts making a re appearance !!!!

Think all of us from the 'skinny legs goalkeeping brigade' will second that!

ps: Good luck with the company

kenny, just been having a look through some pictures on the stanley website, i like this one:

 http://matchpics.fotopic.net/p48673219.html

just wondering if you wear white socks to make you look taller as Mac mentioned yesterday? and how do you get away with wearing Umbro socks when the stanley kit is made by Surridge?

Ive worn white socks for years, pretty much because the first team goalkeeper when i first went pro, Nicky Walker always wore white socks.  The habit has kind of stuck.

and shhhhhhhhhh about the Umbro logo....nobody has noticed yet!!!

i gave up on wearing the official club goalkeeper kit (pictured in my avatar <-) because it's 2 sizes too big for me and not particularly nice. now i wear either a green selsport or grey uhlsport top, with black shorts and socks which used to be white and are now...sorta...grey. Big Smile

so well done to kenny for bringing out a range of gloves tailored to wards what goalkeepers realy need instead of money and markiting

just received these, i bought the flat palm version.

although the cut is very similar to the uhlsport pro fangsmaschine, it doesn't suffer from the pinky and 1st finger twisting that the uhlsport glove does.

the entire glove appears to be made from the same latex which is impressive but i can't help wondering if it's absolutely necessary. it does make the glove very soft and comfortable but perhaps it could be replaced by an alternative material on the backhand to reduce costs/increase waterproofing or heat management.

i've prewashed the gloves and they feel quite tacky already. i have to say that they feel softer than most other gloves and i can't wait to try them.

my only criticism is the wristband. the strap goes in the opposite direction to normal which is a touch annoying and the strap is far too long for my skinny wrists. i'd definitely prefer a conventional wrist strap and a tighter bandage, but again this is my problem not a design or build fault.

overall i'm really impressed with the way they feel, and can't wait to try them out tomorrow during the warm up.

kenny, do you wear the roll finger or flat palm version?

I wear the flat palm version.  I prefer the feel of flat palm gloves.

 All the best tomorrow.

one thing kenny . i prefer flat palm too . the problem is that in order to get a good fit (essential with flat palm for me) i usually need size 8.5

do you have any plans to introduce half sizes to your range ?

Hi Rich

Yes I do intend to do half sizes, but not until the start of next season.  Hope you like the look of the gloves.

yeah i do like the look . the duo league is a great favourite of mine , and the cut of your glove seems very similar (without internal latex obviously)

glad you are gonna do half sizes too .

while we're doing the kenny q&a, do you intend to follow the likes of John Achterberg in producing clothing and various models of glove? i realise that KA goalkeeping must be a fairly new venture but it doesn't hurt to have future plans!

We are planning on doing an interview with Kenny about his career and his range of gloves. All of these questions can be/will be asked during that. Thanks

wore the KAs today in the warmup, they felt really good. they need a really good prewash though, so i didn't wear them for the game. not that i needed them, I had nothing at all to do in the game as we won 1-0.
