Good collection there mate, those new fingertips look very slick. And I dont mean grip wise lol.
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
What are the Ti ES3 Fingertips like ? I had them but with the regular ES3 palm, fell to bits really quickly, but they look cool and the grip was pretty good too
Hi guys,
The ES3 Ti are very comfortable glove.I havent used them or pre-washed them so cant comment on how they perform.
The Nike are the negative version ( RS ) and rate them very highly.
The ID feels good aswell but again I havent used them and I dont have a ball at home to see how they handle.
Cheers
Tommy
The es3 Fingertips were the last adidas glove I used. They fitted great, super comfortable. The palm seemed a little thin. The grip was honestly one of the best I have ever used, but it died after just 2 or 3 uses and was pretty much useless after that.
these are my gloves 4 the season and a few of the old school 1s i collect!
Photo of my current glove collection. Top row are 2 new pairs of Sells Wraps which are my current match gloves. Took 6 pre washes to get the grip to kick in but now that it has they're superbe! A cheaper pair of Sells which I use for training. The Uhlsport Absorbframes were last years match gloves but are relegated to the occassional training session now. Since beingh introduced to Sells gloves I definetely prefer Roll Finger gloves with the bandage wrist. Subsequently the Uhlsports now feel "baggy" in cpomparrison. I'm thinking of sending them to be "Pimped" - maybe a negative cut palm and a different wrist. The Nikes were my first pair of gloves when I got back into football last year and are seldom used now.
Bottom row are 2 pairs of Sells Aqua Wraps whcih have been my match gloves this season and have only just been replaced by the Sells in the top row. And for anyone wondering what the black tabs are by the Sells name on the wrist - it's an extra bit of velcro that I sewed on as the wrist bandage on the wraps is a bit long for my skinny wrists and this seemed the neatest way of sorting that out without chopping an inch off or having the excess stickingout. Next are a cheaper pair of Sells with finger protection. Used for training and indoor. And lastly a pair of Uhlsport Aquas which have only been used a few times as every time it rains here at the end of the week invariably match day is postponed to protect the grounds!!
Next glove purchase which will be this month will be a couple of pairs of KA Goalkeeping gloves in Roll Finger. Having read the numerous potivie posts on KA Gloves here on TGB by members who clearly know their stuff I'm looking forward to trying them out.
havent posted for a long time might as well put my selection up.
the puma v-kons current match glove due to nice thumb injury that doesnt like healing only have the thumb support in and thats all
pride and passion
Looks like you got a lot of use of those Sells Contour D30's, bigazz. Looks almost as bad as my crusted Reusch Ortho-Tecs.
Wow, your adidas gloves have taken quite a beating lol!
Lol yes I know. It's funny because I wore them when I was about 13 and got them in December, and wore them through alll the way to July playing every single match and traning session with them. I still don't understand how I managed but I guess I looked down at my gloves once and said wow I think I need new ones!
how do you clean your gloves mine always go dry after i wash them and i feel like i lose grip
I soak my gloves straight after training so all I need to do is wipe them when I get home. I then hang dry them in my room away from artificial heat and direct sunlight. If the latex is going dry maybe try storing them in plastic bags or glove bags as it keeps the moisture in them.
Hope this helps.
oh yes
