This thread reaches its one year anniversary without a functioning website from Sells.
Whoa....a year already...
So much for the ready by Christmas, being done by PDS stuff that we were told
Heres hoping they put the new range up soon
We take joy by taking the joy from players and spectators.....
Indeed.
Just to be clear, I'm not having a go at Sells here, I just find it bizarre. A perfectly good website can be put up in a few days by a decent designer, for the cost of a few pairs of Exosphere Guards. And if they're planning some huge multi-functioned website, in the meantime it would not have been hard to have a basic website with pictures and specs for the current range of product. Here's hoping Sells will eventually shut me up.
At a bare minimum they can scan their catalogue and have it available in PDF for download.
As Justin has mentioned it's relatively cheap to get a web designer to put together a professional website for the interim.
Kind of agree with comments above, although a decent website shouldn't be rushed. But something short-term should be simple to pull together.
I think the main issue here, is not the time to design or put it live, but the concern for me is the lack of motivation and time that Sells are putting into promoting their brand online. Selsport's new site and the one Puma did recently has hopefully opened the other brands eyes to what is possible.

Since we're on the topic of Sells, does anyone know when they're releasing the 08/09 line of clothing?
I seem to remember being told Pro Direct Soccer were doing their website?
If that is true then its just Par for the course for them really!Never had anything delivered on time from them and always managed to claim back on deliveries from them!
Another three months have gone by and the Sells website is still not back up. It is almost beyond belief that business today would go more than a year without a functioning website.
I echo your thoughts kksdad. I find it bizarre to say the least. Not having a website for almost a year and and a half beggars belief. I can only assume that they are selling enough products through 3rd party vendors and feel they don't need a website. IMO it is a valuable marketing tool. It would be interesting to hear what Sells explanation is.
It does seem very strange when you think about the quality of some of the websites such as Selsport. I am a die hard sells fan but that is certainly one thing they are lacking.
I think there will be some news in the near future about this. Can't say anymore than that for now.
