Not quite as extensive as the Reusch Collection but here's a few vintage mitts I've picked up over the years. I remember wearing the type of gloves on the top row in the mid-1970s at around eight years old but would be interested if anyone can be more specific with dates or info. I know the Adidas Curkovic and KKS Sepp Maiers have been discussed on here. Young goalies these days don't know they're born...

How does it feel to be a God in this curious, insular world of goalkeeper glove enthusiasts?Stick out tongue You've inspired me to never again throw out a pair of gloves.

I had the Reusch version of the Curkovic. Fantastic glove for it's day.

Well TGB has forced me go public with what was previously a fairly private hobby. You'd be amazed how people start backing away slowly when you confess to collecting goalie gloves. If you ask me, the ones who saved the old brochures are the really strange ones. I'm very glad they did though.

Has anyone else noticed that PS's pictures are absolutely perfect?  The lighting, and the shots themselves are just fantastic.

Please take these on the antiques roadshow tv show in a few years time, not only would it be great to see them on tv but it would make the program alot more appealing ;-)

Perhaps that's related in some way to the fact that he is a professional photographer.Stick out tongue

The fact that you still have some of these in their original packaging is just mind-boggling! Surprise

yep I have tried to keep a low profile here, as my mates/colleagues would give me the world of stick for talking about gloves all dayStick out tongue.

Seriously the Reusch Collection is amazing, would say they had the best cosmetics till recently, some of the designs have lost it for me. (minus a few great colourways in goalitor and seria a).
