Can someone please tell me what kind of turtleneck iker casillas and several other players wear during the colder games. It isn't a typical turtleneck because it's fluffy. I saw casillas wear it against the ivory coast. i most commonly see casillas wear it when playing for spain. what would be the name of it? i saw it on ebay once but i cant recall the phrase i used to search it

He uses something that here in Spain we call Bandana, is like a tubular piece of cloth, you can search for a brand called BUFF, they make this ones in cool designs and types of fabric
Regards from Spain
I remember hearing that some euro players get a ordinary polar neck top and cut the neck off and just wear that. One of the players at Man City done it. I can't remember who though I know who he is but I cant think of his name! Think it began with C.....someone put me out of my misery! lol
Edit: No I was wrong, his name is Rolando Bianchi, heres a pic:
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
I bought one of these from ebay the other day to use whilst training and it is really good. Its advertised for motorcyclists but its exactly the same as many other football manufacturers but a 1/3 of the price...link below guys:

Yeah, I'll confirm that they are a godsend! I got hold of a Macron one last year and wondered how I managed without at times!
Don't know about playing in it though but certainly for training and coaching is well worth an investment!

How on earth anyone can play in one of these things I'll never know but each to their own I suppose......
I think if they made them less bulky and a bit tighter fitting it would not be so bad to play in..
The correct terminology is actually a SNOOD (seriously), they are available at hiking/skiing type shops, and are just like the top of a roll neck but a thin fleece material.
Buffon is found of these as well:
I always thought a snood was like a hairnet. Never heard of a snood being worn around the neck or for it having any warmth properties.
Aren't they just called neckwarmers? Ive got one of these, and down the park, play like buffon with one of my head
Keep your neck nice and warm actually, would be caught dead wearing one in a match though, oponents would just fall over with laughter! actually, not a bad idea
Matt Reis wore one last night against buschy and the Fire. He had it pulled up all the way over his lower jaw! We'll have to ask buschy if he said anything to him about it.
Justin, with his shaved head that turtle neck was not very attractive-- even my wife made a very unflattering comment.

Dont think I could wear one to be honest, I dont even like a coat or rain jacket fully zipped I feel a bit clostrophobic, but Im a bit strange!!
If they work for others fair play but not for me.
Kenny, R you thinking of sticking one in next seasons KA range???
