I agree, they look pretty horrid coming from such a well known company, but at least he got them for free! I wouldn't complain.

hmm they really don´t appeal to moi designwise.... but what has happened to glove designs recently? can´t say I´m that fond of the Uhlsport akkurat series aswell... Imho the uglyest gloves I´ve ever seen....

I can understand that you want your gloves to be original and so... but soon they all will look like Rinat gloves... uew....

You can tell Reebok and adidas are the same company now, they are the same as the Iker Casillas gloves on pds.

On a positive note, Adidas have included a negative cut thumb after not having it on the current model. Anyone know if it has thumb protection?

It also looks to me as though there is no wrapped thumb and it appears to be a surround cut too, so something new from them

We take joy by taking the joy from players and spectators.....

I am also not a fan, but will reserve judgment until I see them in person.  Adidas biggest problem lateley is they seem to be a follower vs. a leader.  This glove has elements of several gloves on the market already.  Flex channels like the reusch, look of the reebok (which is no coincedence) and the ever present black palm.  I would prefer them to go back to the drawing board on the fingersave line, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.  Why bother when they continue to sell an insane amount of gloves?

It's the font used in "Fingersave," and the very thin ribbing on the side of the glove, that make it look cheap to me. Perhaps this is just a prototype?

Lack of thought, time, effort, and any attention to detail.

The rest of the range is as bad! The new Response is the same backhand design but in white and blue.

When we started great-save.com the Adidas Fingersave was amazing they have lost their way in keeping! Shame really seeing they have some of the best keepers in the prem.

Not my cup of tea either. I remember when I 1st started keeping I used to see soooooo many people wearing fingersaves but now it is a rare occurance. I agree, they do look a bit cheap and I'm not a fan of black palms. And I really don't like two tone palms Ick! Too busy! BUT if they perform as well as the adidas gloves I have had then it won't be all bad Wink

Dida still needs a team! lol

Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!

Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.

I wouldnt say its such a rare occurance, well not in my league among the younger keepers who seem to think that Fingersaves are the be all and end all of gloves.

I have to say that I agree that material wise these look cheap, but I actually like the design of the backhand!

I like the backhand design, but would like it a LOT more if the wrist area and closure were seperate from the rest of the backhand. The palm looks awful I think and the foam looks hard. I will not be purchasing these.

That is of course unless adidas decides to make me up some lovely SMU's...Stick out tongue

Goalkeeping is not just a position on the field, it is a way of life, it is an attitude on and off the field.
