Although not one of the names suggested it does contain words suggested by members. We will let you know in due course appropriate compensation for your efforts

BOOOOOOOO.... Totally unoriginal and disappointing. There were some really good names submitted, I don't know why they went with this one. There are already a couple of Sondico gloves named Stealth.
Everybody rips on brands that copy other manufacturers and although I'm sure that Selsport TGB SMU will be a nice glove, IMO they blew it with the name.

Of course the name is not going to agree with everyone and you are entitled to your comments but it's a name. It was the chance for members to have some fun and complete the design cycle which alot of people have been involved in.
I trust Selsports judgement on this. Personally I would not care if the glove was called Bob or Mary as long as it performs and looks superb.
Sorry Jimmy. I didn't mean to sound so harsh. I think it was a fun contest and I'm sure the glove will be sweet.
I just was very surprised that this name won. I was hoping for Onyx or Spectre. But Selsport Concept BOB or MARY would be worse! ;)
But clearly "Stealth" must be popular with marketing folks these days since now two manufacturers are using it.
It was definitely a fun contest. When I saw how the forum voting was going I was a little bit disappointed in how many of the generic and bland names were garnering a lot of support. My only issue with stealth was that I worried that since other companies were already using it there would be little to no name differentiation.
I'm sure from TGB and Selsport's perspective they want the glove name to be very accessible for multiple audiences and age groups. There are plenty of worse names that could have been chosen so I'm glad several of the very generic names were passed up.
On a side note: While I was reading through this thread "Obsidian" popped into my head. I went to lookup a picture and found an amazing picture of a rainbow obsidian which has naturally occurring black and green tones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Rainbow_obsidian.jpg

No Matter what they're named, I will be purchasing some as soon as Vic gets them in stock... They have great features and are cosmetically awesome IMO. Which is different, I usually don't prefer a mostly black backhand.
Can these gloves have personalisation? because it is hard to tell by the wristband if you can or not.
